STUCK

There will come a time in your life when it feels like you are stagnant. It may seem like everyone is progressing and accomplishing their dreams, while you are at a stand still.  You feel STUCK! There can be numerous reasons to why you are having this experience. You may want a different job but doors are not opening. Been single for years and ready for that right relationship. It could be that you are  in college and undecided on your major. There a many explanations to justify your state of mind.

WHAT DO YOU DO?

For starters, I encourage you to become content. Accept and enjoy this season in your life.  Situations will not always go the way you want them to.  If you continue to fight and complain, it will only breed discontentment. Find your peace during this time and be happy with where you are positioned. “Many are the plans in a mind of a person but it is the LORDS plans that will stand.”-Proverbs 19:21

Next, focus on your world! In this social media age, it is easy to compare yourself to others.  He/She seems to always travel, have money, got engaged, promoted, new car etc. Comparison only makes an individual feel inadequate with their own life. Try to stop analyzing others world. Yours is AMAZING!

The best thing you can do is pray for your situation. If you have requested for certain doors to be open, and they were not, then it was not his will. Ask God to help you accept his path and give you comfort during this time. I know one thing for sure, he can give you peace during the storm. Trust that he has your back and will not lead you astray. His timing is perfect. “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situations, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God. The peace of God which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”-Philippians 4:6-7
